SYD lunch/dinner 26. april ?

g'day,

i decided to do a MR to down under one month before coming back for the OZ-fest. (thanks to the rediculously low fares during the last QF sale ex UK).
i will arrive early morning on sunday 26 of april and depart on monday late afternoon.
so if anyone wants to join me for a sunday dinner or lunch feel free to PM me or post in this thread.

cheers from MUC

I'll see what I can do... Sunday dinner's not practical due to work the next day, but I'm happy to meet Sunday early afternoon or Monday morning.

Looking forward to seeing you again, if it's doable.

Depends on location. I am good on locations in/near Manly but alas in the city I tend to use Subway for quick lunch .

I guess it really depends where everyone prefers to meet. I am on budget constraints and will have my MINI DG with me (if its going to be teen friendly ).

I will think on it and in the meantime, if others can chime in with some ideas, that would be great .

hi,

can anyone recommend a nice place (maybe in the rocks)? i have no clue about good restaurants/cafes in sydney other than the rather expensive cafe sydney where we once had the BEYFlyer dinner.
i am eating almost everything - although i don't prefer to go to german restaurants outside my country :-)

cheers from MUC

I had a nice meal here in late 2007 - it "might" be a bit on the expensive side, with mains in the low 30s, but it was quite good and the service was very good. It is around the corner from the Lord Nelson.
