I have to endure a CRJ-200 on the flight home, but if I'm lucky it'll be oversold and I can fly home the next morning.
Excellent. Avios space is opening up. See you there.

I took you off the Hard Hat tour.

^ Cool article and well worth reading.

On a related note, I'd suggest a visit to Old Friends Farm outside Georgetown, KY on one of our H&B DOs. Tours require an advance appointment but are well worth the effort.

Some superstars have retired to Old Friends including KY Derby and Preakness winners/Eclipse Award champions Silver Charm and War Emblem.

Thursday

Here are four votes for the Merrick Inn on Thursday, 2 for us and 2 for johnrxman. Weather permitting, we're thinking about Shakertown on Friday.

In Harrodsburg there is now a distillery making the world's only hemp moonshine. Open 10-6 M-Sat.

About 30 miles from LEX.

Thought of this thread and last year's bourbon do as I'm in Seattle for the weekend and wondered out to the Woodinville Whiskey distillery to do their tasting and walked away with a bottle of their tasty rye. ^
