I also would have preferred DMZ on Monday, but unfortunately no tours are offered on Mondays.

As for Sunday, I think there will be something planned for the late afternoon/early evening.

I believe from previous reading of others' trip reports that they usually get back to central Seoul by around 1600. I could be wrong.

Ooooh this leaves my with some tricky choices! I'll be in DUR the week before for a wedding - do I skip a DO for more time in Africa, or come up with an itinerary only an FTer would be proud of?!

Very much interested, will update when I have a plan.

I am looking into a tour operator that will get us back to Seoul by 1:30pm. Also the tour starts early. Meeting up at 7ish.

Already booked and can't wait !
Now whether to take part in the post do...Since all my flights are already arranged, I'd have to get a separate ticket/reward NRT-ICN-NRT... DO I ????
I'm already doing a YYZ > HND > HKG > ICN (Connection) > YYZ, I doubt, I can add another ICN to that mix, it will need to be another booking.

Flights are plentiful (NRT-ICN-NRT) and not too expensive (well in my mind!). Also consider doing HND-GMP as GMP airport is closer to central Seoul.

Now that kirkwoodj does not have to catch an afternoon flight, is there a slightly more leisurely option?

But let's discuss the DMZ tour in the Korea Do thread.

HND-GMP is so much more convenient if you are starting in central Tokyo and is frequently served by all three alliances. NRT-ICN is also served by all three alliances (but fewer flights) as well as a few LCCs.
