CHICAGO - Senegalese Dinner Do - Tues July 12 @ 7pm
One of the great things about Chicago is it's food scene, LOTS of choices & different cuisines to choose from.
C'mon out on Tuesday July 12 for some Senegalese cuisine. Here is review from a few years ago, I've read the food still shines. http://www.chicagoreader.com/chicago...nt?oid=8162993
All are welcome to attend. Please confirm to this thread.
FYI, restaurant is BYOB (bring your own booze), so bring 'em if drinking.
This is a small venue restaurant, so for our group size, we'll likely get 5-6 dishes for all the table to share.
Date/time: Tuesday July 12 @ 7pm
Venue:
Badou
2055 Howard
Chicago, IL 60645

If there is interest, perhaps some after dinner drinks at Ward 8 cocktails which is close to Badou. http://www.wardeight.com/

Hi Willie.
Put me down as a tentative for now. Due to come back from Asia on July 11, so not sure I can flip back up to Chicago on the 12th...but I will certainly try. Looks like a great place, just my type!
Assume BYOB? (You just knew I was going to ask...HA)

FYI, I'm traveling now out of the country, tough to quote posts & edit. Will update this thread when I get back on Mon June 6. I've read good things about this restaurant, hope y'all can make it.

Google shows parking spaces in front of the restaurant. I'd expect street parking to be possible as well...though it's not the best area to walk around. Not particularly unsafe, but Gold Coast it ain't.
