Seoul 27 May - 3 June 2016

I will be in Seoul at the end of May and early June, and was wondering about any other FT'ers that might be in the area. Particularly I am interested if anyone on FT will be attending the Rotary International convention, or are interested in meeting up during this time.

It would be great to organize a meetup or DO during this time, who might be around and interested?

Hi AKDan,

I am based in Korea and actually have considered setting up a Do in Korea. I would happy to meet up with you while you are in Korea and also assist with any fun activities in Korea. DMZ tours are usually at the top of the list, along with good korean bbq food.

Sounds great! A DMZ tour was definitely on my list already.

Any other FT'ers going to be around during that time?

I'll be in Seoul all summer. Already did a DMZ tour (it's very cool!) but happy to hang out otherwise.

good charcoal BBQ spot for sure. Our group also really enjoyed our meal at the Noryangjin Fish Market. We all split up and purchased seafood in the market. Then joined up, walked upstairs to one of the restaurants and handed over our seafood. Sat back with soju & enjoyed the various dishes that came out of the kitchen. Delicious & fun experience.
