Missed the last three but...

..not this time.

I'm not likely to ride Ragbrai this year so my calendar is open. I'd love to catch up with everyone....

There is no official host hotel. Many of the participants stay in the Briarwood Mall area. Most (all?) major hotel chains are represented there.

Fwiw, there is a new hotel option if you want to stay downtown and check out all the art auction, restaurants, etc & Uber to the DO events. It is a brand new Residence Inn property that looks impressive (from the outside, never been inside).

Many of us have stayed at the Sheraton in past years and met at the lounge in the evening after dinner. I have reservations there for this year as well.

Gotta be this one, yes? Lest I make a big error: Address: 3200 Boardwalk Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48108

Looks like $161 before any discounts, cat. 4.

Anything else within stumbling distance?

Answered my own question by searching for hotels near Briarwood:

Sheraton is #9.

K, I'm calling this hotel a reasonable deal. About 1 mile from Briarwood for 15,000 IHG.

And it's a Category 5, which means the Chase Marriott Cat 1-5 certs could be used there.

Cheers.

I have a reservation there. I'll be excited to stay downtown for a change instead of waiting on those dang Briarwood shuttles.

Does anyone know if there's a public parking lot nearby that might have room during the art fair, so I can avoid the $20/day valet parking fee?

Fourth and William parking structure is close. Not sure what their daily rates are though.

Scratch that. $28.80 daily rate.

I'd actually be tempted to take AirRide from the airport. It would drop you off at Blake Transit Center, which is like 3 or 4 blocks from your hotel. Then just Uber, Zipcar or Maven, if you need to get around. I bet you save money that way.
