CHICAGO - Flyertalk Thai Streetfood Dinner Do - Thurs Feb 4

goodeats21 is coming back to Chicago on a business trip and we all know what that means, another good Flyertalk dinner Do!

This time we are heading to a new place: IMMM Rice & Beyond which serves what they call Thai street food. To quote from their website: "At Immm, we serve foods found at food stalls and carts in the streets of Thailand: Khao rad gang (cooked food in steam table served over rice), Som tum (papaya salad), Arhaan Tam Sung (food made to order), Kuay Tiew (soup noodles), and Thai style breakfast rice plates."

Sounds delicious to me.

Who's interested in attending? All are welcome !

Edited to add: this restaurant is BYOB (bring your own booze), so bring 'em if you're drinking

Time: 6:30pm
Venue:
IMMM Rice & Beyond
4949 N Broadway
Chicago, IL

Excited to try out a new Thai place. I haven't been up to the Argyle area in a while. This is just about as convenient to the CTA stop (red line) as possible. ^

I did a quick check and didn't find anything...is it BYOB?

I was checking out some info on this place in preparation for Thursday. There was a post on LTHF forum that it is a cash only place. Just an FYI to be prepared in case that is still the situation.

Some pics and good info on recent visits at the above link, in case that may tempt anyone else to join in.
