We've always done weekdays since a big chunk of the attendees work in Boston but live outside the city in different directions. It tends to be the most convenient location for the largest number of people. Many people travel on the weekends, particularly in the summer and winter, so we lose out.
I'd attend a weekend Do, depending on location and date.
