Boston Do, January 27: The Do that doesn't have a rhyme

Do to the impending light dusting that we're going to get, I'm going to vote that we reschedule tomorrow. I haven't talked to anyone who is coming in, likely including myself. For those who are here and still wish to get together, my guess is that you won't have much trouble getting into any open restaurant. If you are still planning on coming in, best bet is to leave a note at the end of this thread.

I'm tempted, as have to be in BOS for a baby birthday on the 30th (so was already planning to fly into BOS (LGA-ORD-PDX-SFO-BOS). So this would require a diferent routing and a drive, but at least my car is in the area. But I'll write back with a Yes or Maybe. For now, no.

I'd humbly suggest Knight Moves or Dok Bua Thai, if you wanted somewhere to go. Knight Moves might be too "themed" - though it's free pizza on Wednesdays.

I'll be on my way back from DC. Might be able to do a SDC and fly back earlier....so put me down as a Maybe.

That. Looks. Awesome. Perfect type of restaurant for a Do. I love Thai (I'm partial to Bamboo on Comm Ave.) but pizza might be more "all-encompassing."

Since I go by this place every single friggin' day, I have no idea how I didn't know it exists. I'll have to see if they have room for us. I did see a private room, but I'd have to check into pricing.

You obviously know your way around Brookline. Let me know next time you're in town and we'll grab drinks (goes for anyone visiting Boston, btw.).

Oh gosh for some reason I was thinking February (2/28 which is a Friday) , no wonder I'm all messed up. Both of the proposed midweek dates work. Confirm me for either.

I was a little curious about the "weekend" comment, but thought that maybe it was a long mileage run.

Nope just Friday night through Sunday evening run. I prefer 1/21 so I can say I went to 2 DOs in the same week, but I'm not tied to any of the Tuesday/Wednesday dates. Saturday 1/24 is WineDO in NYC and all my other things are weekend things too

Tuesday works for me. Knight Moves sounds intriguing.

technically, we could also do the 20th. man, this is getting complicated. a lot of our regulars are out of town on the 28th, but we've already had one request for non-Wednesdays.

How many FTers does it take to screw in a light bulb arrange a Do?

Not entirely out of the question for me, but it depends on which airport I'm flying from the next day.
