I plan to fly in Friday, flights to SDF are about $160 cheaper than LEX. I can arrive at 8:51 AM or 11:28 AM. Will there be any early Friday activities or can I get a little extra sleep?

Gotcha, I can hold off for a little while until I book then until we have a firmer idea on the schedule.

I am very interested in attending, how do I officially sign up? The last two years I have been trying to get back to Keeneland. As some of you may notice from my name, I am a rather enthusiastic horseplayer and racing fan.

Welcome aboard!

There is no official signup; just saying you will come is enough. People attend whatever subset of the weekend's events they like. I will add you to the list.

Tasting bourbon is wonderful, seeing/talking with other FTers is fun, betting on the ponies a rush, but Stella's, that is worth the roadtrip alone.
