Please Introduce Your Travel Mascots Here.

If you are a FlyerTalk member who travels with a mascot — typically a stuffed animal — please introduce him, her or it here in this discussion.

I do not have one; so one will not be introduced by me.

Photographs are encouraged; as well as links to pertinent discussions on FlyerTalk where your traveling “companion” either appears or is involved in your travels.

Thank you.

Smile Floyd the Flamingo

Thanks Canarsie for starting this thread!

As many know, I carry around Floyd the Flamingo on my travels...

The backstory - Two years ago, my niece brought YoYo Flamingo (from Fantasia) home to my sister. I was home a few weeks later and asked about the flamingo ("that little pink thing") on the entertainment center. My sister said the flamingo was going to come to London to take pics for the Olympics. I pointed out I was headed to NYC, Paris, etc. in the coming weeks and if it was going to be a traveling flamingo, it should go with me; the rule was no London pics until my sister came for the Olympics.

On the way to the airport, I told my sister it needed a name...threw some out there and her response was Floyd. Thus Floyd the Flamingo began his travels.

First photo:

First flight (SNA-ATL):

Hello, ATL:

By the time I got to ATL, I had a message from my sister that I was now an admin for his facebook page.

First OpUp (ATL-LHR):

This created the trend of Floyd enjoying a lie flat seat.

Most important part of the OpUp?

More Floyd...

First arrival @ LHR:

PARIS!

You may note the ears were starting to fall off...and Floyd's new home became my Oakley case. I also found super glue in Paris...thank you, Monoprix!

I <3 NY!

Guns! Watch out!!

haha Floyd is soooo cute.

I travel with my CX bear sometimes. We named him Nigel after that Australian pilot from the commercials.

When my kids were much younger, I would travel with a small teddy bear named Digby. He now belongs to one of my grandchildren. My wife and I visited her (and her parents) this past weekend. Had this thread started a bit sooner, I would have seen it and taken a picture. Absent photographic evidence, you will have to take my word that Digby is very cute. So is my granddaughter.
