United has told me they are planning special events for the flight, but could not tell me specifics yet. Hope this may help in your decision!

How are you finding award space? I have not even seen paid space (even in full Y or F) on that flight in weeks.

Expertflyer is awesome... Setup a seat alert yesterday to let me know if a window opened up. Got the email tonight, I am now the proud owner of 6L.

Anybody having trouble seeing their seats on UA 1116 on 11/4

**Also, 1116 on 11/4 now departs at 7:20 AM and arrives at 9:51 AM while 1510 departs at 11:21 AM and arrives at 2:06 PM.

Schedule Changes
Looks like all of the 787 flights have schedule changes on launch day. Looks like some changes more than an hour different on some flights. Check your itineraries!

UA1146 IAH-EWR now departs at 7:30am. It looks like my seat assignments (both my F seat, and my ghost seat in Y that the system keeps failing to release and sometimes kicks me back into) have survived.

The seat map is available on the 11/4 IAH-ORD flight, and my seat did not change.

The first SFO-IAH changed date: from 12:15am on 11/5 to 11:50pm on 11/4, making it officially an inaugural day flight. It even changed flight number, it is now UA132.

Here is what is spooky. Looking at my itinerary, which has a mix on 787 and non-787 flights, the non-787s show "Upgrade Confirmed" while the 787 flights simply show my sitting in United First (R) but no "Upgrade Confirmed" yellow check. Are those not confirmed? Are they now a softer upgrade subject to change?



Seat assignments survived the schedule change.

I like it better now. The yellow checks came back. Must have been a glitch with the schedule change.
