SIN Do 10 2012 January 13-15, 2012 Singapore Mileage Run DO
After a great time putting together the 2011 SIN DO I will be arranging the 2012 SIN DO. Further details are to follow,
but the dates will be Friday January 13 through January 15. A Post DO is planned with a location of Kota Kinabulu Malaysia.

Thursday
Midnight: Late night trip to Newton Hawker Center: With many people arriving around midnight from the UA flights and a few of us on CX, there is no better way to start a visit to Singapore besides an excellent hawker center visit with some Tiger beer.
Friday
10:30-1:00 PM Republic of Singapore Air Force Museum, taxis are the best way to get there and admission is free
Lunch: To follow in the Arab Street area.
7:45-11:00 PM: Drinks at Mogambo and then take the train over to Newton...

Midnight: Head to the hawker center for dinner. This will be Newton again this year.
Saturday
9:30 AM: This will be a day trip to Johor Bahru. I've got a lot of details to gather on this event so the times are tentative, but we will get back to town by 5:30 PM.
1:00 PM: For those not attending the trip to Johor Bahru, lowjhg is setting up a lunch at The Line restaurant at the Shangri-la. Please PM if you are planning to attend so I can get a head count. The price is about $65 SGD.
8:00 PM Dinner: No Signboard Geylang. There will be a table for those not that into seafood also. In the past this has cost $40SGD roughly per person with drinks costing extra. Easiest way to figure the bill is split food among the table and the drink tab among those who drank.

10:00 AM: Alexadra Arch/Treetops trail. We will take a taxi to the entrance of Kent Ridge Park and can meet up there. Also, there will be a number of us heading over from the Grand Hyatt, so we can also meet up there at 9:45 AM. The walk will be between 5-6km and we'll end up at the Harbour Front MRT and it's a quick ride to the Little India MRT stop.
1:00 PM Lunch: Muthus Curry
7:30 PM Dinner: Straits Kitchen was fantastic in 2011 with great food and good seating. I was looking around for some place different than in the past, but this place is the best variety hands down. Dinner is about $50 USD AI and it's buffet style.
