CitiBusiness AAdvantage Benefit Questions
Non-Application question - In regard to Free Checked Bag - does just having the card tied to my AAdvantage account provide the Free Checked bag or do I have to buy the ticket with the card? The language doesn't seem to mention a purchase, just that the card must have been approved 7 days prior to the flight.

That's great! I just booked a flight to MCO using the rest of my Chase UR points and $14. I tried to pay the $14 with my Citi card, but the Travel portal only allowed the Chase card. Was hoping I just had to have a card linked!

CitiBusiness AAdvantage Benefit Questions
Hi,
I just opened up a CitiBusiness AAdvantage card, and two questions about the benefits:
1.) Do I get a free checked bag and priority boarding even if I buy a ticket with a different credit card?
2.) If I make my partner an authorized user, do they get the checked bag and priority benefit?
Thanks in advance.

You need to have your AA number linked to your PNR to receive the benefits. If you input a different airline program before the check-in, you won't get the free bag on an AA-operated flight.
