Choice to Southwest transfer
I am trying to gauge out timing. A few questions.

First, a week ago I called in and transferred enough choice points to my SW account to complete my CP. However, they havent posted yet. So I am wondering how long this typically takes. Do they transfer on a certain day? yadayadayada

Second, In two weeks I am flying from IND to LAS with my girlfriend. We bough our tickets with RR Points. would SW refund me the points and let me use the CP instead if it posts in time? Or would I just have an extra ticket on the flight (if seat is available)

I did a transfer on March 15 and nothing has shown up yet.

Yes, if seats are still available when your CP takes effect, you can cancel your GF ticket and get the points refunded immediately and then add her as your CP.

Any new data points on transfer times?

The new online Rewards Exchange interface is terrible. Doesn't work in Firefox. In Chrome after adding SW as partner, doesn't allow me to select SW.

Needed to call in to transfer to SW. Choice rep confirmed that online transfer isn't working & I needed to call in.

Hotel points no longer qualify for CP on Southwest.

Yes they do but the option to do so will expire on March 31st.

The SW points were in the acct today and counted toward the Companion Pass. Took 8 days to transfer & post, the same it took when I last did it 3 yrs ago.

Any current data points on this? Trying to decide if I still have enough time before the March 31 cut off to get these points transferred from Choice to SW.
