TSA Pre-Check - is it person specific or program specific?
I'm a 1k with UA & just flew from LAS last night. Went through PreCheck and it wasn't a bad experience.
In talking to the TSO, he told me that JFK does it (I flew to LAS out of EWR, they didn't have it there flying to Vegas).
I'm flying on DL ex-JFK on Friday - just curious whether I'll be eligible for Pre-Check there.
It seems my Pre-Check status is attached to my UA1k status? Or is it attached to me as a traveler (I don't see how it can be - but am just curious).

If you're not a DHS CBP NEXUS or Global Entry member with a "Trusted Traveler" number entered into your airline's profile, then you're only involved in the program based on your airline's travel history.
Effectively, if you're not a Delta PM or DM, don't expect it on DL without your Trusted Traveler number in your profile.

It's a big reason I did the GE thing. No one's ever been able to tell me one way or the other, but it may help if your status slips next year.
