For those of you who are wondering if the 70K offer for personal card is still alive, the answer is Yes. Click the "Application Page " link in the Wiki! I just applied and was approved after calling the credit card specialist, and confirmed the offer.

Thank you guys

confirming this doesn't work. I can show you a screenshot.

Hey - is this the very first link to the application? I cannot see anything stated about receiving points in there... how are you sure you are getting the 70k points?

Yes. The first link that directs you to the application page.

You won't see anything on the page, but you will get the offer. Call them after your card is approved. CS representative will confirm that.

If all the links above stop working for any reason, try using this older method:
1.Go to www.marriott.com and log into your account.
2.Click on My Account (https://www.marriott.com/rewards/myAccount/default.mi)
3.On the left side, there should be a credit card offer (looks like this http://prntscr.com/rppr0). Click on the credit card.
4.After clicking on it, it should take you to the landing page of a 50K offer: https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/mar...emier/50n1ksh/
5.Change the 50n1ksh to 70p1ksh or click on this link https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/mar...emier/70p1ksh/
6.Click on the big green "APPLY NOW" button. Make sure to take screenshot of the 70K landing page for your records. http://prntscr.com/rpq9x
That is no longer the landing page URL. The new landing page is https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/marriottpremier/focv1/. 50,000 points. This workaround is dead.

On the upper right it says 'My account', select 'Marriot Rewards Credit Card' from that drop down box, and this is what I get.

You don't need all the login rigmarole; it's possible to go directly to the landing page. I've added links for this alternative offer to the wiki.

Mine is 50000, same screen same site. My wife didn't join MR until about a week ago, maybe that is why

This is the 70000 link in my account as of 9/30/14. I am an Elite member. It may work for you. Please post if it works for you

That one required signing in with an MR account with Elite status.

I did end up using the link from the wiki, and though the page didn't indicate a bonus at all, I'm hopeful that 70000 will come from it. I should be able to get at least 50000 out of it since that is the current public offer.

I much prefer the Ritz card (when no annual fee 1st yr is offered) which gives gold status (means upgrades at Marriott stays) plus 70k in points, but getting both is good too if able to. I really wish they'd give gold status with this Marriott card. Because it doesn't I haven't bothered with Marriott's cards in years.

Datapoint: I applied on 9/29/14 using the first link in the wiki, was approved, and received my card yesterday. When I called to activate I confirmed that the offer was 70K points with $1k spending. Sweet! This is my first time having this card.

I ordered my wife's card on or about the same date. Hoping for the same result...
