Look at the seatpmaps on the Cathay website and compare with the one you see for your flight.
But essentially if there are 26 business clas seats on the upper deck then it is NBC. If there are 30 then it is old business.

I tried (before I posted the first time).
They don't match. I can assume it's NBC because Seatmap shows 24 on upper deck and 21 on the main deck.
CX shows 26-39 (upper-main) on 74J, 30-25 on 74B and 26-21 on 744.
Close enough to make the prediction it's a 744 with NBC?

Ask CX what aircraft is planned? Anything other than 74B has the new Business Class. If CX's res is showing a 74B aircraft, it's the old Business Class.
But the London routes are infamous for their last minute aircraft changes!
