Compared to other carriers, if the price is not adjusted, still not that attractive
KA and CX are 60% or 70% higher price compared to HX CI and BR , take TPE as an example.
Price Conscious ex-HKG leisure travellers may not find this too attractive.

Yes, it should be for a return trip, particularly for Japan and Korea where SNQ earn less bonus they are not allowed to be mixed class with YBHKMLV and open jaw not allowed

Bump - did the bonus miles post for people? I believe it's been almost 10 weeks since the promo is over. Also wonder if anyone got the bonus (double) miles for North America routes at the end of last year.

I can no longer find the terms (another thing I don't like about AM is that they take away all the promo info before posting the bonus miles), but in the past I've always been able to get it as long as I change my address to somewhere in HKSAR, irrespective of the origin and destination of the ticket. A year ago (early 2017) there was a double miles offer for HKG-USA-HKG and I was able to get the bonus miles by flying TPE-HKG-LAX-HKG-TPE.

On another note I was told that the North America double miles promotion was extended to 10FEB2018 although I see no information on the website now, so the bonus miles will be posted in April.
