No Krug, soup and salad absolutely disgusting with blobs of starchy stuff in soup and salad drenched in cheep dressing, steak was ok (no picture), berries were cold as ice, breakfast, well you cant really screw up eggs.

About he only thing better than AA in F across Pacific is quality of PJ's!

Seems like both departures out of LAX and SFO do not serve Krug. Such a shame as I'm flying F out of LAX next week.

I wouldn't mind the Taittinger over Krug at all. Salad looks terrible, soup sounds terrible (and you can sort of see the lumps), and maybe just let the berries thaw a bit? But seemed as if caviar, main, and breakfast were all good?

About he only thing better than AA in F across Pacific is quality of PJ's!
I like the privacy and space of the CX suite (and cabin) quite a bit better than the AA suite/cabin. If AA would just put some real curtains up, I wouldn't feel like my head is in business while my body is in first (in the row 2 windows).

Just flew HKG - JFK CX 840 last night. Didn't end up taking down the menu since everything seems the same. But two things. For my main dinner I had the steak, asked for it medium-rare. Came out completely rare; only the outside was seared, inside was still all raw. Asked for it to be heated up again and came back 10 minutes later barely warmed up. But by then i was just tired of waiting.

Second, during breakfast, they asked which jam I would like (they used to bring out all of them for you). I asked for the strawberry jam. The seal was on the jar. But when I took the seal off I noticed the lid wasn't on securely with the pop like unopened jars. And when I opened it there was already a scooped out part, and bits of butter on top. I pointed it out to the FA, didn't ask for another one since that kind of put of me off the whole thing really.

CX catering needs some help it seems like.
