Is first meal on CX 830 breakfast or lunch
I am in J class if that makes a difference.
Also, the 2 later flights, I assume it is a lunch and dinner service?
Just trying to decide which flight to book to maximize the experience
Thanks

Fyi, we have menu threads. Search for "menu". 2015 and 2016 will both be relevant and all the flights are in there.
830 first meal in F is lunch. Not sure about J.
840 and 846 in J are dinner + breakfast as second meal.

CdC food has gone downhill too...
OT: today was the second time in a month that I bought takeaway from CdC and they gave me the wrong food. And it wasn't like there was anyone else in line. Need to open the boxes before taking them in future

Bumping - taking this flight next week and can’t seem to find a confirmation from CX on what the meal service is in F on this one - the 9:35am departure. All signs point to L+D but wondering if anyone can confirm more recently. Thanks

CX830 is a prime flight so even though it departs before 10am, the first meal is still lunch.
A less substantial dinner is served midway through the flight, but if you are flying in F class you are welcome to dine before or later. (That is, if the JFK base crew operating this flight don't consider this as a threat to safety and want to offload you......) There will also be an assortment of (plated) snacks of substantial portions.
