Layover in Singapore question
Hi guys - I am returning from Bali on route to NYC and will have a 15 hour layover in Singapore. I arrive in Singapore on a budget airline and then depart 15 hours later on CP business class to NY. I was wondering if it would be possible to check in our luggage with CP 15 prior departure so we could enjoy singapore without having to carry our bags everywhere? Thanks so much in advance.

CP was the old Canadian Airlines call sign. Cathay Pacific is CX!
No you cannot check your luggage in 15 hours before your flight. There are stored luggage counters on the upper levels of Terminal 1 where CX flights leave from. Ask for Left Luggage counter. Cost is pretty low. Around S$6 per bag per 24 hours.

I'm hardly the expert on all IATA / ICAO airline codes, but I'll share these (for OP and others). I can also see how some people would be confused with codes in general: Cathay is CX on sites like ExpertFlyer, but CPA on FlightAware
Some people don't know all the codes, others guess, some of us just "search"
