40 years on from that first flight into Australia, Iris Lim is still working at Cathay Pacific.
Having moved up through the ranks to senior crew roles, and then on to grooming and recruitment of cabin crew, today Lim manages the airline's uniform projects and the "Walking on Air" fashion show celebrating Cathay Pacific uniforms through the decades.

CX used to fly F to Australia years back with the 747, but that has been gone for some time now. On I here I read the 77W is starting service to Australia at some point but it will be 77G, so no F service. Decline of F to Oz and selected other med/long haul destinations almost perfectly coincided with CX's introduction of lie-flat beds with the original "coffin" J.
Need higher yields to justify F. Especially given the # of long-haul planes CX has these days (A330s, A340s and 77Ws) without F.
