Radisson Blu Chicago Removed Free Night Cert from Stay & Is Billing Me Full Amount
I made a reservation in early march for an August stay using my US bank free night award. The original confirmation email shows a total of $0.00. I just checked the reservation & the certificate has been removed, and the total is now $397.99USD.
Has anyone experienced this?
The certificate doesn't even show in my account anymore. WTH

This happened to my online reservation with a certificate, too, but did not change the actual reservation and I was not charged when I checked out.
As far as I understand, the amount is for internal Carlson purposes only and does not change your free stay.
I would take a copy of your original reservation just in case. If you are not comfortable, you can call to confirm. The staff can see the "free of charge" status in the system.

I've had this happen a number of times with different properties. In all of the cases I contacted the property in advance, and they went in and fixed something such that it showed a zero cost on the website again.
