Club Carlson is currently running a "Stay 2 weekend nights, earn 20000 points" promo. Not bad at all, though it's only valid at a rather limited number of hotels.

Does anyone know whether the bonus can be earnt multiple times? I can't seem to find any such restriction, though most CC promos usually do.

I'm PO'ed. I stayed at one of these properties (for two weekend nights) with the reservation made after the eligibility date. And there was no mention of this promo anywhere on the CC website.

As to the question upthread, it states that it can only be applied to a single booking. So I take that as meaning only once.

also p&c rate is valid for this promotion:
"a rate eligible to earn Gold Points completed on or before 15 September 2014"

If the 2-for-1 stay posts as two nights, it always qualifies for any promo with a min. 2 night stay requirement IME. If it just posts as one night, it doesn't.

I believe this can be challenged @ Club Carlson level, as the T&C of the 2-4-1 rate clearly state: "2 night minimum stay". So it is a 2 night stay. But I haven't the opportunity to test this.

BTW, just booked a room at Park Inn Budapest for 32.50 EUR per night, incl. VAT to get these 20k...

The T&Cs also state "This Offer may not be used in conjunction with any other package, promotion, group or convention rate, or any other discounted rate"

I had assumed therefore that 2-4-1 rates wouldn't be eligible. Would be happy to hear confirmed reports to the contrary though.

Wow - I just checked-out of Radisson Blu Budapest on Monday, 112€/2 nights all in, waiting for the points to post. Didn't dare to use the 2-4-1 in case it wouldn't be eligible.

NOT my favourite hotels in BUD, but for 20k...

Any reports about using the 2-4-1 with this yet?? I am pondering on a mattress run at Espoo to get these points

I'd say book it. 2-4-1's and 4-4-2's can always be canceled and sometimes disappear very fast.
