How long to spend in Pointe-à-Pitre

How long to spend in Pointe-à-Pitre
I am going to be traveling from Boston, and there are only flights in and out of Pointe-à-Pitre on Thursdays and Sundays. I was thinking that if I fly out Sunday and come back Thursday, that will give me a solid 3 days on the island. Is that enough? Or would it be best to do a full week there (fly in and out Thursday?)
