Connecting CAN->US with Skis on Westjet T3 YYZ
Hi All,
I'm wondering about what the process is like connecting with checked skis on Westjet at T3 YYZ. I know T1 no longer makes you collect your bags (instead relying a photo of you bags to customs), but it seems T3 does. I'll be flying Kelowna -> YYZ and then connecting to an LGA flight.
Is there a separate carousal for US connections or do I pick up bags at the general baggage claim? If there is a separate carousal does it have a ski slot the way many airports do? And how much of a pain will it be to lug the bags, including skis, through US Immigration / Customs?
I connected similarly on AC in T1 last year. How do Westjet's CAN->US connections compare?
