Border at the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation (Akewsasne, QC)

I looked for answers on this everywhere but couldn't find any new or pertinent information. If you're familiar with the small exclave of Akewsasne, Quebec:

It's located near Massena, New York and Cornwall, Ontario, you might know there was a long struggle with border issues because it's all one Mohawk nation and the border was closed down.

I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the area knows where I'd have to report entry to Canada before going to Akwesasne, Quebec so I wouldn't get intro trouble with Canadian immigration. As far as I know there's no guard station there anymore, so I wondered if anyone know how to report getting in there and then where to report on the US side after getting out of there.

It's the same as if you were heading to the part of the reserve just east of what you indicated (notice that the only land access if from the US); you report to CBSA at either the Cornwall or Dundee ports of entry prior to entering the regions indicated. Whether you're arriving from the south or the north the procedure is the same. The border was never "closed down" as you state. The port of entry at Cornwall was just moved to the north side of the river and off the reservation. Makes life much more harder on the Mohawks but that's what they wanted it would seem by intimidating the people who worked at the old port of entry on the island.
