Legoland Deal in San Diego/Carlsbad

Thought this might be of interest if anyone is planning on coming to San Diego. Even if you do not use the second visit pass, $50 admission for both the aquarium and Legoland is a pretty good deal.

I've never heard of the Sea Life aquarium. What's there? I've been to the UCSD-Scipps aquarium in La Jolla and have, of course, heard of Sea World in San Diego.

I have not been either. The little FrAAmer just graduated from UCSC and I have not had cause to go to Legoland for a LONG time .

Here's some info: http://www.visitsealife.com/California/

The Sea Life aquarium is Legoland's tiny aquarium to the left of entrance as you're facing Legoland, normally an additional fee (and not worth it).

Its a small aquarium next to legoland and is not nearly as good as the Birch aquarium in La Jolla. Still can be a fun time but its nothing to go out of your way for.
