This is what I see in Safari on an iPad, except the prices displayed for "book your flights now" are bright red and there are some small photos in color below that. However, there are no women in bikinis or people frolicking in the surf.

Including Apple's Thai site. It's back to normal now, though. The Wayback Machine doesn't have the B&W page archived, but there's a reduced-size screen shot in this MacRumors article.
Personally, I think it's a nice gesture. I can't imagine deciding not to purchase something from a company, whether it's a phone or a plane ticket, because they show some public respect over the death of someone who's been king of that country for 70 years.
