Experiences with Kuwait Airways?
They have some pretty affordable direct flights from LHR to East Coast USA and I was wondering if anyone had any experiences regardless of good or bad.

I just got done with a flight on KU - BKK>MNL
Nastiest plane I've ever rode on. The interior is not just dated, the IFE still uses CRT tubes and they had some old early 90's looking LCD's that didn't even work (Looks like they needed to start up the VCR as it was on pause).
The flight was cheap and that was about the only saving grace.

I've done bkk - lhr in j twice with this airline.
They are not the best..or the worst.
there fares are cheap, the planes are old a340,s and 777,s.
The service on board is ok,no booze but the food was ok.
all flights were on time and whilst the cabins were not modern,or with the latest in flight movies,or flat beds etc all in all i thought they were ok.
You are going to get what you paid for,if you want 5 star you are going to pay a lot more for it.
Would i fly with them again..........yes at a push if i needed a cheap ticket.

Kuwait Airways is the national carrier, and not a budget carrier. The budget carrier in Kuwait is Jazeera. Perhaps this thread is not getting much feedback because its in the wrong forum.

I did a BOM-KWI-DXB in Jan, 2015. Wasn't cheap AED1,600 return
BOM-KWI: 777
KWI-DXB: A320SL
food was great, the IFE on the 777 wasn't functioning throughout the 4 hr flight from BOM-KWI and was sadly switched on only when we just parked at the gate in Kuwait -__-!
KWI-DXB seved by 9K-AKF (Amazing Bird), fresh, clean, AVOD IFE. The chances of getting on an A320SL for the moment is something of chance. However, they frequently serve Dubai, Cochin and Trivandrum. AKE, AKF ocassionally serve Doha, Bahrain, Jeddah, Dammam, Amman and Lahore.
However you could notice like this:
The new A320SL have a C16Y117 config (AKE/F and G/H/I/J to join soon)
The old A320s have a C20Y120 Config (AKA/B/C)
BOM-KWI: 777
