Prority Pass no longer accepted at Stansted Fast Track
Friday I was advised at STN Fast Track that Priority Pass cards would no longer be accepted to gain access. She did let me go through on this occasion though. Poster next to Fast Track entrance notes that 'No. 1 Lounge Pass Holders' will be admitted. This is confusing as the No. 1 Lounge will accept Priority Pass. I was in too much of a hurry to get further clarification, but if this is the new policy, its very bad news. Its the only reason I pay for the Amex Platinum card.
Other categories allowed in Fast Track, according to the poster, were Stansted Express 1st class ticket holders, EasyJet Flexi fare ticket holders, Lufthansa Senator-status holders and Ford employees.
She had no news about the lounge in the main terminal. The No. 1 lounge on the ramp used by Easyjet international flights had closed some months ago. No. 1 lounge staff near the Ryanair gates told my colleague that the contract with Stansted has not been renewed and their lounge will be closed shortly.

You mention a lounge in the Main Terminal - is that expected to happen or will the satellite lounges be taken over?

Spoke to No. 1 lounge and Stansted Airport.
No, there is no longer a plan to open a lounge in the main terminal (I was previously told otherwise.) The lounge in the 'Ryanair' satellite will continue to operate for the foreseeable future. There a no plans to reopen a lounge in the 'Easyjet' satellite.
If you are not entitled to Fast track access per the criteria in my previous post, it is available if you pay for a 'reservation' for the No. 1 lounge (5 in addition to lounge entry fee) or if you pay 4 for fast track only via no. 1 lounge website.

New Stansted Lounge
Resurrecting this old thread as there is now a new lounge at STN, opened Monday 27/4. (Mods please feel free to split or join with anything newer.)
PP & Lounge Club have both updated their apps to show it being available but nothing I can find on fast track yet. I'm there this Friday am & will give it a try & report back.
Lounge itself is apparently in the main departure area airside, not in one of the piers.
