IB operating out of T5 ?
We're looking at a quick break to Madrid over Easter and can see the BA524 on Fri 14/04 which according to ba.com is op. IB ... but from T5 ?
I may just have been unobservent, but I've never noticed anything but BA tailfins parked around T5 terminals...
This may be a stupid question, but does IB metal actually depart from T5 ?

IB have operated out of T5 for a while now. I have flown IB in and out of T5 over the last few years on several occasions.

Yes, however the last three flights (522/516/524) leave within 50 minutes of each other and I have never seen them leave from anything other than T5C - due to the 522 being a widebody.
Probably something to do with the IB manager as well as pax often going to the gate of the flight before/after - at least they are in the same satellite.
Agree however that all other IB flights tend to be out of 5A IME.

It's not just IB, it's also IB Express (slightly different tail fin), and not just MAD. So from T5 you can go on the Spanish airlines to places like Las Palmas and Asturias from T5. Great for confusing BA's lounge staff when they see OVD on the boarding pass.
