LHR T3 WiFi maintenance

LHR T3 WiFi maintenance
No WiFi in either the CX or Galleries lounges today due to maintenance. Didn't have enough time to visit AA to try there.
Was wondering why I couldn't connect at Cathay, hence the visit to GF. Once at the gate I connected to the Heathrow WiFi which was still working, but exceptionally without login required, with a screen saying maintenance is ongoing.
Nothing said at either lounge desks or when trying to connect to the networks, simply a failure to connect. No clue if this is today only or a longer project.

I wonder if that power failure that affected T5's baggage and Piccy's trains had somehow accidentally glitched the network switches/routers here. Quite a reach, I must admit, but it's not out of realms of possibility.
