Presumably CPH else it wouldn't make the ARN flight

My LHR-GLA flight on 1st July is scheduled at present to be operated by G-EUYU. I was interested in finding out what aircraft it was and it's previous schedule as most of the BA1492 flights have been delayed in the past week.

Interesting function of FR24 to see where that aircraft is scheduled to fly in the preceeding hours.

Hopefully on Wednesday my flight will stay on schedule as YU is scheduled to arrive back in to LHR 1.5hrs before our departure.

Wednesday 1st July 2015
BA1497 Glasgow (GLA) London (LHR) 20:20 BST - 21:40
BA1492 London (LHR) Glasgow (GLA) 18:15 BST - 19:35
BA1333 Newcastle (NCL) London (LHR) 15:30 BST - 16:45
BA1332 London (LHR) Newcastle (NCL) 13:35 BST - 14:45
BA573 Milan (MXP) London (LHR) 11:35 CEST - 12:35 BST
BA572 London (LHR) Milan (MXP) 07:50 BST - 10:45 CEST

All rather geeky, but very good

And YU has sharklets!!!

Safe & Happy Travels

I did the same a couple of weeks back, on the 8.45pm departure to GLA, but we were still about 50 minutes late because the crew came in on a different aircraft and nobody sent a bus to bring them from the inbound arrival at the B gates to the departure at the A gates. The captain made a point of saying all was on time until the bus didn't show. And to compound things we would have landed 5 minutes late at GLA but for Wizzair missing their runway exit resulting in a go-around and a further 15 minute delay.

If only it was so simple as looking at what the aircraft does, but even with 90 minutes of padding there are other things that like to go wrong too!

Suggest you file a bug report to FlightRadar24 : it looks like a subsequent change has not been received / processed correctly.

No. What we're seeing is quite the norm for BA. Even on the internal Systems can show it like this for a short period of time pre-departure.

Given the increasing use of FR24 for this purpose for I was thinking more along the lines that the FR24 folks may wish to add some sense-checking and maybe alerting users if the information being presented is obviously contradictory.

FR24 could save itself some hard work by just presenting the caution "Prediction is very difficult, especially about the future", and then leaving the rest to the common sense of the user.
