BA Germany to HKG CW from £800

Not sure if this should go in the TP run thread or the BA sales thread, so I'll put it here so people can see it and then mods please move it to whichever you think is most appropriate.

Being discussed in the Mileage Run Deals section at the moment, BA fares from Germany to HKG in Club from £800 up.

Looks like it may also apply to Indonesia. Maximum TPs by routing via SIN and HKG.

Only seeing 2500 Euro for August. Are the fares specific to dates?

Edit - travel by July.

Good deal. Better than my c£1,100 CDG to BKK ticket on QR and one does not have to change planes mid flight.

You can also incorporate a stopover in LON. Thus start in Germany before Jun-30, but continue to HKG anytime you need, eg December, by just paying the extra APD. (about £950 altogether with APD).
Prices for Indonesia: CGK is about £1100 and SUB about £1150.

But substantially fewer TPs.

If you need to change planes mid-flight, I think even GBP1100 is too much! I don't think even Ryanair has gone quite that far [yet].

I trust you meant "connect".

I think mid journey would have been more appropriate.

Mid flight is acceptable: a direct flight can involve a stop

I think we'd say mid-trip...mid-flight is a bit scary!
