looking at MIA next easter, done a dummy booking showing 747 on both flights on 1st and second of april
i know BA dropped one A380 flight but has BA209 gone back to a 747 from april?
march flights still showing A380 for BA209

Last A380 flight appears to be on March 26. Its just the 747 from March 27. Cannot see beyond April 2 at the moment. It maybe that the plane is due for scheduled servicing.

When Qantas introduced its A380 services, it often has 747 in the schedule when booking in advance, and switched closer to the time to A380.
So much can happen between now and then - from delivery delays to engineering issues or Airport limitations that it would be difficult to guarantee aircraft type this far in advance.
This article does, however, suggest, that one flight will remain 747 from W15, so try and opt for the A380 rotation:
"Update at 0820GMT 26MAR15
British Airways has revised planned operation on London Heathrow Miami route for Winter 2015/16 season, from 25OCT15. Previously planned Airbus A380 introduction remains unchanged, however recent schedule update shows the oneWorld member is scaling back planned A380 operation, which operates once a day, instead of twice daily.
From 25OCT15 to 26MAR15, BA operates 1 daily each of Boeing 747-400 and A380 on this route.

The 380 was put onto MIA for the northern winter 2015/16 season (with a later change to the original plan). That doesn't mean that it would necessarily appear in the following season. 27 March 2016 (mentioned by KenJohn) is the first day of the northern summer season 2016.
Until plans are firmer, I suspect that we're all guessing. But if it's important to you to book now, then one option would be simply to book the flights on which the 380 operates now, and keep your fingers crossed.

I can't find any scheduled appearances after Mar 26, 2016, even when looking at late Sept/early Oct 2016. Have BA pulled it completely?

Starts again 01st July...
My little one (and me ) is gutted we are missing it by 7 days. I'm hoping that they will get the new A380 delivered earlier than planned and swapped over.
I'm tempted to change and fly MIA IAD LHR NCL but only 1hour 45 on the ground
