Tier Points on JAL Domestic F?

Hi folks.

I've booked a one-way CTS-HND segment in JAL F. I do not have a 6-digit amadeus/sabre booking reference, only a 4-digit JAL one, so I cannot bring up the exact booking code used.

The ticket is under what JAL call the TOKUBIN21 TypeE ticket, the fare rules for this are here: https://www.jal.co.jp/en/dom/rates/rule/r_toku21.html

Will I accrue tier points and Avios on this flight? The BA calculator tells me that F isn't flown on this route - but it certainly is.

Yours, confused of Clerkenwell.

Ignore the calculator. It should earn you 60. However, expect it to take till Saturday following or the one after for it to be credited.

Are you sure it's F and not J?
I did this route last month and received 40TP and a shopping 954 avois.
Don't expect anything more than a coffee or juice on board.

JL operates 3 class and 2 class aircraft on that route, so some services do have F.

The 777 JAL operate on this route apparently offers an F cabin. The 767 and 738 services do not.

JL domestic F gets a bit more than domestic J: dinner, snacks and alcohol are available.

Circling back on this one to confirm that I did indeed receive the full 60 TPs (and a smattering of Avios (~750 base, ~750 bonus (Gold) and ~150 cabin bonus) for the JAL domestic F flight - and a fine little flight it was too - excellent food and drinks, comfy seats and good service.

Good to hear. Did it post automatically or did you have to claim? What was the delay? I flew JL a few days ago, so have some interest...
