Flying from LGW instead of LHR - advice please
LHR is massively more convenient for me than LGW (which would be an extra hour to travel to by car). However, sometimes the flights from LGW are 30-40% cheaper than from LHR.
So, how do FT folk effectively get from LHR to LGW? The only way that I know of is to drive myself there and park in long-term parking (or take a very expensive cab each way).

National Express offer a £25 one-way or £40 return shuttle.
Of course, you could go the really long way, and take the train.

Is there a National Express bus within LHR that will get me to and from LGW? That might be good enough for me as I can get into LHR within a few minutes. Many thanks.

There is a whole guide about LHR-LGW transfer here.

Personally I have used teh NEX coaches several times and am happy with them.

The NEX buses (well, express coaches) are great by the way. Tickets are ostensibly sold for a particular bus but you can just take any one.
