What is your favourite British Airways advert?

With Oxo re-airing Lynda Bellingham's original advert I think it would be nice for BA to dust off our old favourites. Come and join me down nostalgia lane. I shall forever campaign to have The Flower Duet returned to our screens with a British Airways advert.

1. Fly the Flag - This perfectly represents 'To Fly, To Serve' in my opinion. (not Flower Duet but I like this advert nonetheless it could be improved with the addition though).

2. Upgrade to British Airways - Superb closing shot of a 744.

3. The Island

4. Rebecca

5. Johnny Foreigner

Personally I like "Aviators". It has a very rousing, coherent message and is a statement of belief not a statement of fact.

The main reason I like it is the very good cinematography with the leads from one age to another. I reckon it's a cracking piece of film-making.

If so I agree, it's a really good advert.

I agree with aviators. The whole thing is truly marvelous. Since then the BA adverts have gone down hill.

I think Aviators is probably my favourite advert full stop, never mind my favourite BA advert. But I really like the Olympic one too - the one where the plane goes across London on the ground.

Aviators is also my favourite advert to date, great show of heritage and love the Concorde at the end.

Good shout.

My personal favourite is "Rebecca", it is so subtly and neatly done.

Aviators - look how far we've come, culminating in Concorde, then oops along come the accountants and we're back to a double decker bus.
