Customers traveling in our first class cabin are required to dress in attire appropriate to their country of origin, therefore for our Scottish customers are expected to board the aircraft in their best Kilt and Jacket, tartan PJ’s may be brought for sleeping.

The only time changing into PJs before takeoff is if you are a near obese middle aged man doing it right in the middle of the cabin (between the 1A/F seats). Then it is wrong. So wrong.

No. Do what you like. Most people on "lunchtime flights" in F seem to get changed at some point into pyjamas anyway, and in my experience a lot of people get changed in the first hour of getting on board.
For a start, there is no such thing as a lunchtime flight when it comes to long haul (only lunchtime departures / lunchtime arrivals etc), apart from a flight that's heading north/south and therefore does not cross many (or any) time zones. It's a different time at the destination anyway, so you can choose your own time.

I like the way how Secretary Kerry dresses while traveling:

Just a quick question.
Where do you billet your man? I was thinking of putting mine in economy but I have seen different opinions that one should have them in Premium Economy in case you have a cabin emergency, like dropping one's roll on the floor in turbulence.
One does assume, of course, that one's man is not required to wear a seat belt if this prevents him from pouring the wine in difficult conditions.

Sitting them with the other paying customers will only 'give them ideas'.
He's perfectly capable of serving a four course dinner in a Hurricane when on board the Yacht, so mid-air turbulence rarely troubles him
