Upgrading from CWLCY to LHR F
So, not planning this but was interested how flexible BA are..
If you're on the LCY flight out of JFK, do BA ever allow people to 'upgrade' into F using miles? Clearly its more than just a standard upgrade as it would be on a separate aircraft..

No, you would need to change your ticket to the LHR flight paying any change fee due and then upgrade with avios.
If you were on a LHR-JFK service and another same day flight had award availability you would need to do the same as well.
