So, who'll admit to stealing Benedict Cumberbatch then ?

British Airways mags featuring Sherlock star’s face stolen in record numbers ... and sold on e-bay.

Every time I've seen one of these magazines, they look like they've been read 100s of times, are stained, crumpled etc. and I wouldn't want to collect one in that condition.

I thought that the mags were free to be taken away? I'm fairly sure that United/AA's mags had "your copy to take away and keep" at the top of them.

Thanks for the post.

Cumberb!tches gone wild!

David Duchovny (X-Files) was once featured on the cover of the Princeton Alumni magazine. I put it on ebay and got about $70. So I called the publisher and bought out their whole back stock for $2 each, shipped. That was profitable.

Good thing to keep in mind.

I second that! I will sometimes take them if they have an interesting article or good restaurant recommendations. And have always felt encouraged to do so. How can you steal something that's free?

So - unlike most other airline magazines - they're not yours to take away if you so wish????

(Not that I ever have)

Benedict Cumberbatch was on a

"wasn't comfortable" and wanted a
different seat. Although it's hard
to think that any first-class seat
wouldn't be comfortable, the woman
in the seat he wanted didn't mind
and agreed to swap.

A little later, Benny decided he
preferred his original seat. Again,
the woman swapped. Not being from
the UK or the States, she had no
idea who the passenger with ants-
in-his-pants was so, emboldened by
the free champagne, she asked him.

The actor replied that he was the
voice of the dragon in the Hobbit
films and seemed somewhat put out
when she burst out laughing.

I did take one once, from the lounge, near the end of the month. A friend was mentioned in it.

i took 5 (yes, five) of the Business Life magazines at the weekend... To justify, there's an article about one of my friends in it and BA doesn't send her any copies, so she asked me to pick up some for her... Further justification, I took them from the middle seats in CE so hopefully no-one will miss out. Apologies if people have...

I did see the High Life one and was going to take it due to the article about ice driving in Sweden (that Cumberbatch was advertising) as that sounded awesome, but i thought that 5 copies of the other one was sufficient.
