LHR boarding passes

If I have a boarding pass for a flight operating out of T3, but I want to go from landside to airside at T5 (and then switch to T3 airside), provided I self-scan to get past security, is this possible?

LHR boarding passes

Quite sure this is not possible... Can only pass from landslide to airside in the terminal your flight departs from.

LHR boarding passes

Why do you want to do this? I think it may be possible to go from T3 airside to T5 airside and back to T3 airside but only if you need to do shopping in T5.

I think the transfer terminal service for shopping reasons isn't available to T5.

Correct, because everyone going airside in T5 needs to have an electronic docket set up under Ready to Fly. This links baggage, visa, seating and a range of other items. So if you don't have a same day flight out of T5, you can have no docket, and therefore you can't get in. Must be the only time that shopping plays second fiddle to flying in Heathrow.

The reason why I ask is because I am BA Silver but flying on another airline out of Terminal 3.

Really would have liked to use the lounge in T5 pre-flight!!

They wouldn't let you into a BA lounge without a same day OW boarding pass anyway....

As per oneworld rules, you can only access a oneworld lounge if departing on a oneworld carrier.

http://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access

There are three oneworld lounges in T3 (AA, BA, CX), but standard oneworld rules apply.
