A Very British Airways Christmas: BA Themed Gifts for Your Stocking

What will be in your stocking this year?

Lots of useful BA-themed gifts out there you might want to hint for, or buy for your friends and family.

Here are a few selections to help you below - do you have any of your own?

My favourite Concorde coffee table book:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Concorde-Fre.../dp/1844035409

A selection for posters from the BA Heritage Collection priced between £15-£35:

A terrific history of BA's precursor, BOAC:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Speedbird-Th.../dp/1780764626

Some Concorde cufflinks, a snip at £69:

http://www.thecufflinkstore.co.uk/82...FfQatAodBhYArQ

The BA airport play set, for £18:

And, slightly off piste, those who haven't read it might enjoy Nevil Shute's "In The Wet" classic, which has an Aviation-and-Empire theme, with a hint of Her Majesty, and a Concorde-style Royal Flight which might pique interest:

Any other suggestions?

On the Beach and In the Wet are two separate books, no?

Ah yes, well spotted. In The Wet and On The Beach have the same author, both excellent reads despite their age - mind was wandering!

Shute postulates the use of a BOAC Avro Atlantic at the Queen's Flight:

Where did you get your my themapelligroup?

Anyone else any pressie suggestions?

They sell them at BA headquarter at Waterside (next to LHR). They also have other merchandising.

I wasn't aware there was a retail store there.

You can get that F washroom feel in the comfort of your own home courtesy of D.R.Harris' Handwash:

I think that would be a tad cheap, n'est ce pas?

Maybe you could buy them for PUCCI GALORE.

Though I feel certain she only wears Yardley English Rose when between the sheets.....

If you want to recreate the on board club bathroom smell this is the stuff. Also pretty reasonably priced at 15 pounds!

From the blurb it seems to insinuate that they couldn't find any men who washed their hands to survey.
