Well my ^ is for BA First. The AAdmiral's Club (even the top one) is pretty poor. And the one time I went into Cathay's pad, my stomach turned. But I do not like Asian food for breakfast.

Why not do a lounge-crawl (with suitable trip report)?

BA Galleries First (full hot selection, both buffet and waiter service)
BA Galleries Club (buffet, hot porridge and rolls)
CX First Class (buffet, including some hot items)
CX Business Class (limited cold buffet)
AA Flagship Lounge (very limited buffet)
AA Admirals Club (birdseed)

Very timely thanks, just arrived in the BA GF lounge for the first time, now that LCA departs from here.

No hot buffet in the BA F lounge last week - only waiter service (but there were only 3 people in the lounge at 07.00 so makes sense)

And if the right chef is in they come pretty well cooked too. A fine start to the day.

Yes, one of the best reasons to fly AA F is so you can enjoy breakfast at BA Galleries First

I would avoid CX F. My OH once had a poisonous sausage there, which reappeared on short finals into OTP...
