Arrow New Booking Interface

Just randomly pricing on ba.com, and this appeared after a few dummy bookings ^

Interesting to note the use of 'Business Class' rather than 'Club Europe'.

Apologies if posted before, but this is new to me (and I haven't seen it discussed).

I only get it on the JER route (for both Economy and Business - selecting Economy shows both class prices).

I get that for the same booking details. Normal on the front page, but then the new one on the flight selection page.
Tried some others like AMS, NYC etc and the old style pages.
Also old style for MAN-LGW-JER.

Randomly pricing up bookings? Or like me did you read the thread earlier this morning asking about the cheapest way to get 150tps? I recall that JER was the suggested option!

I too have seen the new interface today. It came up when pricing up JER in J but not Y. I then tried a few longhaul routes and it didn't appear in any class. Nor did it with some random European destinations.

Perhaps they are using JER as a very tiny test sample?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; U; CPU OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

I rather like the look of the new screen

Looks like this is being done in a testing environment - I have got it 3 times out of 4 on Firefox and 1 in 4 on Google Chrome.. we do similar things at work to test drop-out rates and conversion before rolling it out.. You lot checking prices for TP runs probably aren't helping that test though

I get it as well....I chose a economy ticket and get a rather snazzy page outlining what you get for your money. Plus it shows what the benefits are of upgrading to business class. Champers, extra leg, lounges etc.

It really does look quite nice. Just like chasingstatus I do this at work to try out new features and designs at websites with live users. Maybe there is an overhaul of the design of the whole site (much needed in my opinion).

I wonder if this update has been causing the issues with BAs site for the past few days. Hmmm...
