It's probably united.com issue. Did you check what avianca.com says?

Exclamation Not Correct...

The issue is with United NOT showing meals on AV^. Did the LAX>SAL red eye 3 months ago & a full meal was available in Business.*

*Passed on it as it sleep was my #1 priority that night.
^As an FYI, AV ALWAYS seems to serve a full meal in C as a rule (even on the BOG>UIO flight which is about an hour or so of flying time, always get a full meal) (-:

Only AV flight that doesn't seem to serve a meal is UIO>MEC...even then though they pass out these real delicious buns (-:

As a matter of fact, much to my surprise I didn't get any meal (only the dulce de leche thing) on my BOG ADZ BOG in C. My previous experiences with AV were in C and even in a BOG UIO (as you say) I had a full meal. Is it totally different in domestic legs? I suppose BOG CTG has no meal as well?

Flew BOG>UIO am flight late in August in C. Offered a full hot breakfast (I think we actually had a choice of 2 entrees if memory serves me correctly). Maybe something has changed since then???
