Havana lounge for *G passengers
I'm just booking some BOG-HAV-BOG flights at the moment.
I understand there are a couple of lounges in Havana international which can be accessed by Business class passengers of some airlines, and also (it seems) by anyone willing to pay at the door.
So a couple of questions:
1) Does Avianca use one of these lounges for their passengers flying to BOG?
2) Do I have to book in Business class to get access (or pay on the door), or do Avianca also give lounge access at HAV to Star Alliance Gold passengers flying in Economy class?
[note that I'm *G with Air New Zealand rather than Avianca]

cannot speak for *G lounges, but I flew HAV-CDG with AF in C and lounge was desperate. Probably the worst lounge I have encountered (and I have seen much of what UA have to offer). Doubt there are any better lounges in HAV, so keep expectations low.

There is no lounge for Star Alliance Gold members:
http://www.staralliance.com/en/benef...lounge-finder/
And Avianca does not have an own VIP lounge there either:
http://www.avianca.com/es-ve/informa...salas-vip.aspx
So if Avianca offers lounge access in HAV, it will be a contracted lounge where you need to get an inviation at the check-in. Most probably only Business Class passengers will get access.

Thanks Air Rarotonga, I should have been clearer in my original post that both HAV lounges are third party lounges.
