New FHR hotels [Listed each year since 2007]

Just noticed on the cent website that Four Seasons Palo Alto is now a FHR hotel. It might be just me, but I could have sworn that hotel was not on the list in the past. Anyways, cent benefits include upgrade at checkin, daily cont. breakfast for 2, 4pm checkout, extra amenity at location and a $85 food credit (excl. alcohol).

Plat benefits are the same, but no extra amenity.

^ to adding a new hotel!

Some good hotels on that list. FHR seems to be one part of the Amex empire which they DO make an effort to keep up-to-date and relevant. I've already got an MO Prague booking lined up for later in the year, although to be honest the FHR saving was relatively modest (around $20 per night compared to the MO 'Seasonal Choice' rate which offers similar benefits except for the free lunch).

MO Seasonal Choice gives you a room upgrade?

FHR is pretty much the only reason i pay Plat fee and will pay Cent fee

I don't see the comp internet access on the Cent website. It might, however, be the "extra amenity" which they do not name specifically.

I sure hope AMEX wouldn't let a hotel give internet access as the "extra amenity" (aka, "fourth amenity").

Kagehitokiri,
Thanks for your reply about comp internet access.
Let me check about that.
I'll call Cent Service later and let you know.

I think no extra amenity.
Because Japanese Cent Loyalty Page said FHR benefits are the following.
•Complimentary continental breakfast for two
• Room upgrade upon arrival, when available
• Late check-out of 4pm
• Special amenity individual to each property*
• Exclusive Centurion amenities at over 130 properties worldwide, such as complimentary nights, complimentary dinner for two, and spa treatments.
•Complimentary Internet Access

If you don't see the comp internet access on the US Cent web, comp internet access is for only Japanese benefit.
So I have to call CS for check the benefits information.
If I get reply from CS, I will report to here.

follow up,

I called Centurion Travel Service(CTS) about complimentary internet access.
They told me that this benefit had been launch new benefit from 2007 and not extra benefit.
However, they told me that all hotels are not available.
They told me that when you booking the hotel under FHR rates, you should ask to CTS.
I'm not sure that comp internet access benefit for only Japan or not.
But I think FHR is same program in the world.

thanks,

Thumbs up Ballantyne Resort is part of FHR also

I recently stayed there and it deserves its association with FHR and American Express. I was upgraded to a suite and the employees, food, golf, spa extra were fabulous!
